Hi. I've been following Deadwinter a lot recently, and have caught up in the archives as well.
I play HVZ at my college, sorta my way of preparing for the Zombie Apocalypse. _________________ Contrary to popular belief, there are three kinds of good zombie: The kind with it's head blown off, the kind that's burned to a crisp, and the kind that's got something pointy going through it's head. |

There's a similar text-based browser game whose name I forget, but that one lacks the truly nerdy merits of a LARP _________________

Hi, I'm Carl-E and i post on a few other comic forums, too. I try to restrict my webcomics to the few that really capture my imagination, and this is certainly one of them! I followed a link (I think from Guilded Age?) and fell in love. Didn't even realize it was a zombie story, at first! Reiley, you are one talented artiste!
I may be one of the oldest people in here, so I feel funny about the designation "newb". But I've only been following for a month or so, and finally registered. So I guess I am one.
I teach the Dismal Science at a state-run university. Used to be a gamer and in the SCA, then I got kids and a job *sigh*. So now I just read and talk - pretty much like my job...

Howdy, pleasure to meet you as well! Glad to hear you enjoy the strip, and there may or may not be another "oldest person" lurking around here somewhere! But that's fine, comics are for everyone. _________________

Indeed, comics are for everyone. | Hiyas! Technically I'm not new to these forums, but I wandered off a few years back and it took me this long to get reminded how good a comic this was. I think when I was last here, we'd only just been introduced to Monday, so it's really cool to see how the comic has progressed since then. |

Hi nameīs James Rye, i like my martini with ice, thank you.
No seriously, i reread deadwinter for the 9 time now and i can still look at the first page and find it interesting and cool. I totally adore Monday and Lizzer, you made them so cool, funny, nice, realistic, adorable and hardcore that i canīt get enough of them! Guess iīm a junkie for your comic.^g^
I wanna know more about the background of Monday and of the family of Lizzer, also i hope we get to know why and how the zombie plague started and whoīs responsible for it too.
Also i hope of some more actions with the corrupt cops, the crazy army guys and the mysterious yellow poncho dudes vs our gang of survivors. Oh and please donīt forget the other hitmens who wants to kill Monday to win the "game". They sound like very interesting and entertaining fellows.^^
So all said, thank you very much for making this webcomic. Make sure to hit page 1000. XD |

Heeey. I'm totally loving this comic, I found it two days ago and read all of it within 24 hours. Found the link off of Dinosaur comics, and I click anything zombie related. I'm writing a novella right now about zombies called Day One, you can check it out on my live journal.

But yeah, the art is amazing and you're like my newest favorite thing ever. I plan on buying book one next week! _________________ "Oh, don't worry about Nathon, he's immune, it's okay if they eat off his arm while we go around with our guns and zombie fighting skills and do the easy job." -Nathon of Day One |

Hey, well, I have been reading the comic for about two years, and as with two other ones, I completely forgot that there was a forum until it was mentioned in a news section.
So, hey, been enjoying the comic, like zombie stuff, next to no "artistic" talent to speak of. I like music, (the more bass drum the better) I am also a follower of the Church of Gaming. |

Noob here!
I've been reading this comic since yesterday...which is also the same day I finished reading the whole thing from start to finish.
UNbeLIEVable. Wow.
Really. Good stuff. _________________ "If all else fails, immortality can always be assured by spectacular error." |
